Upcoming Debut Solo Exhibition: Stillness in Transit

I am honored to announce my debut solo exhibition, "Stillness in Transit," presented by Mitochondria Gallery.

This body of work is an examination of the interaction between introspection and movement as integral influences in the realization of identity. The exhibition explores the dialogue between ‘Stillness’—the quiet, introspective moments where we connect with our roots and cultural heritage to forge resilience—and ‘Transit’, the perpetual journey of life and the migrations we navigate. The series ultimately postulates that these two forces are not opposed but are intertwined conditions that define our resilience and cultural continuity. 

Created through my signature Pyro-Fusion technique—a blend of pyrography, acrylics, and collage—each piece uses fire as an agent of revelation and transformation. The works feature a striking contrast between hyperrealistic, fire-rendered skin and ephemeral, sketch-like forms, exploring the dialogue between permanence and fragility embedded in the human condition.
